I was assigned this project as my last piece of work for my internship, my task in this was to create an event poster and make this bland topic of ‘finance’ more interesting with some flair. I was free to design whatever I saw fit the design but must include the pre-written text. I made this poster through Adobe InDesign, with the size being an A3 document with margins and guides set up to help design. Having no idea how to make this topic interesting, I originally started with a growing plant, I showed Lisa and Lisa suggested I find a piggy-bank image instead – so, I sourced a piggy-bank image from Pexels.com. I also added gradients and vector graphics from the brand’s style guide.
