A pre-internship design skill test, to see my capability levels in whether this internship is right for me. I was asked to create an EDM, and with no prior knowledge of what an EDM was, I had to do a bit of light research on what they were. I was given some layout design cues to follow and images to insert. To make up an EDM, I used Adobe InDesign, as I am familiar with using this program. I went ahead and set up the InDesign document based on the measurements received. Then from examples, I found on Google to build the EDM, utilising layers to separate content, colours, gradients, patterns, and typography to fit the design.
